Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate how much epoxy resin I need?

Multiply your piece area (length × width) by depth to get volume in cm³. Multiply that volume by resin density (typically 1.10 g/ml) to get grams. Add 10% waste margin. Our calculator does this automatically and respects the exact A:B ratio of the product you use.

Why should resin be poured in layers?

Epoxy resin generates exothermic heat as it cures. If the layer exceeds 2-3 cm it can overheat, crack, or yellow. Pouring in thin layers allows heat to dissipate properly.
