Affiliate disclosure
Full transparency about how we recommend products and finance ourselves.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a special URL that identifies a visitor as coming from ResinCalc. When we recommend a product (for example, Artline Wood PRO for a river table), the link takes the user directly to the manufacturer's store. If the user decides to buy, ResinCalc receives a small commission from the seller.
This is at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you went directly to the seller's website.
Programs we participate in
ResinCalc currently participates in the following affiliate programs:
- Artline: the direct program of the Artline resin manufacturer. Commission 10-20% of the product price.
- Amazon Associates: Amazon's affiliate program, for complementary products (tools, PPE, accessories).
If we add other programs in the future, we will update this page to keep things transparent.
How we choose recommendations
The resin recommendations the calculator offers are based on purely technical criteria, not on which manufacturer pays the most commission. The recommendation algorithm takes into account:
- Piece depth — whether it needs a coating, casting or deep pour resin
- Project type — jewelry, river table, coasters, etc.
- Volume needed — to suggest the most efficient format (container size)
The calculator always shows you the resin that is technically most suitable for your project, even if its affiliate commission is lower than another option. Our priority is for your project to turn out perfect, not to maximize one-off revenue.
How affiliate links are identified
Every affiliate link on ResinCalc is technically identified with the HTML attributes
rel="sponsored" and rel="nofollow", following Google and FTC recommendations.
Visually, the buttons that link to external stores (such as "Buy at Artline") are affiliate links. There are no hidden affiliate links in plain text inside the articles.
Affiliate tracking cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the seller's site (Artline, Amazon or others) may place cookies in your browser to associate your purchase with ResinCalc for a limited time (typically 24-30 days). These cookies are managed by the seller, not by ResinCalc.
If you don't want this cookie to be used, you can access the seller's website directly by typing the URL in your browser instead of clicking our link.
Regulatory compliance
This disclosure complies with:
- The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on disclosure of advertising relationships
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union
- The Information Society Services Act (LSSI-CE) in Spain
